Technology isn't all bad

Updated: Jan 14, 2021

Technology, you either love it, or you hate it.

It seems like there's no in between, everything is automated, or there's a desire to automate it.

But what about it's good points?

As i sit here, the whole country, well, the whole world is in the grips of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and our working life and everyday life has been thrown into chaos, we can't go anywhere and all that we've planned to do, has been shelved until who knows when! But, technology has come to the rescue.

I have a couple of groups of students that I tutor, we meet with other to learn and practice Altered States & Trance Mediumship, then Coronvirus struck, and our classes had to end, but technology came to the rescue.

What was this Zoom I kept hearing about?

I find out that I could use Zoom video conferencing to connect with the students still, and hey presto, we can all be in a virtual room, and we still get to practice the skills we're trying to learn, and in the comfort of our own home.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing quite like actually being with people, but this offers the opportunity to say, we can't meet in person for the time being, but we can still adapt our routine and have some sense of normality in what has become a very different world.

Sometimes we have to adapt to changing circumstances, so when life has thrown yo a curve-ball, throw it back, adapt, change, make it work for you!
